Each year since Nevis Range opened the club has organised a series of
great value training sessions. These have catered for groups of all levels
of ability, from beginners to advance skiers and, in more recent years,
snowboarders. Ranging in age from 7 years to senior citizens.
The aim is to improve general skiing in all conditions and all types of snow
with the emphasis on fun and safety. Apart from learning or improving skills,
these sessions have proved to be excellent social events.
Junior Training/Race Training
Aimed at junior’s aged 7 and above and at all standards of skier from
beginner upwards. Training takes place over 7 Saturdays or 7 Sundays, starting
on 8/9 January. Cost £82 for 7 sessions.
Adult Training
Running on the same days as Junior Training but consisting of half-days. Cost £58
for 7 half-day sessions.
Snowboard Training (beginners)
Aimed at ages 10 and over of the same standard. Training will take place over
5 Saturdays or Sundays, consisting of half days, starting on 8th January. Cost £47
for 5 half-day sessions.
Under 7’s – Mini Training
Aimed at under 7’s who can ski a little (snowplough) and use a lift.
If there is sufficient numbers the training will take place over 5 Saturdays
for 2 hours in the morning, starting 8th January. Price is dependant on size
of group, minimum of 4 children at the same level.
Under 7’s – Complete Beginners
Private lessons at lunchtime for up to 2 children cost £15.50 for 1 hour
lesson or £22 with hire and 1 hour lesson.
Easter Training
Will be a block of 5 days in the Easter Holidays if there is sufficient interest.
