Skiing in Fort William and Glencoe

Skiing in Fort William, Scotland Skiers and Ben Nevis, Fort William Skiers and Ben Nevis, Fort William

The skiing season in Fort William and Glencoe sometimes begins in November, but is not competely reliable until January. We enjoy two major pisted areas - Nevis Range is just north of Fort William and White Corries, 25 miles south of town in Glencoe.

You can find out about Nevis Range on this site with links to live snow conditions and and their own website.

In the area there are several ski clubs and ski schools, as well as suppliers of ski and boarding equipment and clothing, so you don't really need to bring your own.

For further details of skiing in the area, please contact our local Visitor Information Centres in Ballachulish and Fort William
