The Trust has joined the Nevis Working Party (comprising Highland Council, Scottish Natural Heritage, Forest Enterprise, local landowners and residents, and mountaineering interests). It is devising a Nevis Strategy for environmental and visitor management in the Nevis area.

Although the Ben is a popular mountain, the Trust's overall aim is to keep the area wild and beautiful.
