The Church is over 150 years old and is one of the many in Lochaber designed
by Thomas Telford, the famous engineer and bridge builder. The grave of
C D Rudd, colleague of Cecil Rhodes and former proprietor of the Ardnamurchan
Estate is in the grounds of the Church.

The main Church of Telford design is situated half a mile north of the

The first account of a minister in Ardnamurchan was in 1624, although
there are records of worship in 1278. The old Church on the hill (now
scheduled as an ancient monument) was built in 1761. The present Church,
by the famous architect William Burns, was erected in 1831, and has a
Laird's gallery opposite a raised pulpit.

The Parish was at one time part of Ardnamurchan and was elevated in 1919
to full status. In 1992 it was linked with the islands, of Eigg, Muck
and Rum. Holy Communion is held on Easter Day, in May, October, and at
Christmas/New Year.

This is the daughter Church of the Old Kilmallie Parish. It was well established
as the Garrison Church of the Fort in 1692. The present building dates
from 1881. We provide Saturday morning coffee for shoppers and visitors
during the summer. There is a Sunday School and Creche. Please sign the

St Columba planted Kilcolumkill the first Church in Duror around 580AD.
In 1651 a new kirk was erected - the ruins of it are still to be seen.
The present Church was built by Thomas Telford in 1829.

The Church is found adjacent to the Lovat Arms Hotel. The present Telford
Church is actually build on the site of the old English Garrison Church
which once stood in the original Fort of 1715. The Church is well situated
to communicate the Good News to the world which passes and sometimes enters
its doors.

St Munda built his Church early in the 7th Century on the island in Loch
Leven that still bears his name, the burial island of the Macdonalds,
Camerons and Stewarts. The last service was held in 1653. The present
Church was opened as the Parish Church of Glencoe in 1890. During the
summer months coffee and biscuits are served at the close of worship.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of hills and loch, the Church building
was erected in 1864 and extended in 1897. The architect who designed the
extensions also designed Crathie Church on Deeside. The area is steeped
in the history of the Jacobite Rebellion, and Bonnie Prince Charlie made
Invergarry his hiding place from the Hanoverian Forces after Culloden.

Kilmallie is the old name given to land north of Loch Eil and west of
the river Lochy. Today the name is preserved by the local Parish Church.
There are three Church buildings; a two-hundred year old building in Corpach,
a more modern one in Caol and a lovely Chapel hidden in the forest of
Achnacarry. Kilmallie is a busy place. We hope YOU can join us.

Kilmonivaig merits a mention in the Guinness Book of Records by being
the largest Parish in Great Britain. The present building dates from 1812.
The modern hall adjacent was built in the 1960s to accommodate increasing
Sunday School numbers and provide a venue for social events.

The village of Kinlochleven nestles among the high mountains at the end
of Loch Leven and is the subject of much recent development and improvement.
The church is a pretty building built in 1930. The congregation is a warm
and active one. There are Creche facilities during the morning service
and tea afterwards.

The MacIntosh Memorial Church, situated in Fassifern Road, Fort William,
is descended from the 19th Century Free Church and via the UF Church,
became a Church of Scotland parish church in 1929. It has a lively evangelical
tradition with emphasis on family worship. Parking on street or in Bank
St top car park.

The Parish consists of Mallaig, Morar, the Knoydart Peninsula and the
island of Canna. A Wednesday lunchtime service fortnightly is held at
Inverie (Knoydart). There is a Church library in the Church hall. Sunday
School meets at 11am on a Sunday and a Creche is available for under 3's.
A meeting for Bible Study and prayer is held in the Church hall on a Saturday
at 7.30pm.

According to tradition St Columba set up the Church at Morvern. Interesting
relics of the past are the ruins of the mediaeval Church, the free standing
'Iona' cross and the collection of sculptured stones - all at Kiel, and

This Parish stretches from the north side of he Ballachulish Bridge past
Corran Ferry towards Fort William in a popular tourist area. The very
attractive church has fine views over Loch Linnhe. The former Manse, beside
the Church, is a Telford Manse.

The 'Telford' Church stands on the river bank about 1/2 mile from the
village centre on the Polloch road. The congregation is small, with about
30 members and a number of adherents. There is a lively Woman's guild,
a small Sunday School and a Bible Class. Communion is celebrated on the
1st Sunday of June, Sept., and Dec., and Easter Sunday.
