Activities on the Farm
For a rural holiday on an organic farm come and stay at Great Glen chalets
where we breed Highland ponies, Highland cattle and Cheviot sheep. The
rider with some experience is welcome to join us on a short hack to the
river or help with looking after our 18 horses and ponies.
On the farm there are walks beside the River Lochy (3 miles of river
bank) or up onto Tomacharich hill with views down Loch Linnhe. If you
are a canoeist you are welcome to launch from our bank to do a section
of the river. For fly fishermen we have three small lakes that are stocked
with rainbow trout. The lakes are a short walk from the chalets, rod
hire and fly fishing instruction are available.
