Sea Kayaking Sea kayaking is one of the fastest growing branches of paddlesport. Sea kayaking in Lochaber is possible year-round although spring through to autumn is likely to give the best weather. It's a good area for the novice paddler because strong tides are found in only a few places and the sealochs long inlets provide sheltered abundant sheltered water. One of the special treats of Lochaber seakayaking is the abundance and
diversity of wildlife that can be seen when afloat. Encounters with otters,
porpoises and seals are not uncommon. Around the Small Isles. you can
