December 2011 in Glen Nevis | a winter wonderland ?

Glen Nevis near Fort William is one of our favourite places and one we can't recommend highly enough to you. If you are going to be visiting Fort William, then take a couple of hours to drive and/or walk through the Glen. In winter it's very quite and sometimes at it's most beautiful.

During this week of cold and snowy weather we've been spening some time taking winter scenic photos, and you can see these below... the trees in Glen Nevis - particularly the Scots Pine and Larch are very prominent and help create nice photos. We'll add more later.

Glen Nevis has mountains - including Ben Nevis, the River Nevis and its waterfalls and the forests. Come and stay in Fort William and stay self catering or a friendly B&B near Ben Nevis and Fort William.

Who would have thought that Fort William would have +13C temperatures in February in Scotland ! And folks in England have empty reservoirs !! The lowerfalls will be awesome to see in this weather as huge amounts of fresh rain cascades down from Ben Nevis into the River Nevis, just to drain into the sea.....
